Graham has internet ADD. He requires things to be new every couple months or he loses interest. He has had 3 or 4 blogs now all hosted on various services. WordPress, tumblr, band camp to name some of them. So a few weeks ago he sends me this very well done PNG file and claims [...] The Novels project I have been working on has been going well. Just before Christmas we put the whole album up for free download on the website www.okaynovels.com. The first phase of the promo was a simple twitter blast across 3 or 4 twitter accounts with approximately 3000 followers. We had 700 downloads in the [...] Another wet year for Rock The Mill. It didn’t have to be canceled this time! All of the bands played and everyone in attendance had a good time. The Junction played a ton of older songs as a kick back to Rock The Mill 4 years ago when it was still in Mill Race Park [...] As a teaser campaign for the Novels project I have made several notebooks with the Novels promo on the front of it. Inside these books will be the press release as well as a DVD with an intro video that Wade Vroom has edited up. These will be mailed out to specific addresses of writers [...] I’m currently working on a project called Novels with a group of guys from Toronto. Graham Wright of Tokyo Police Club Novels is a 24 hour collaboration album project, that was written and recorded all within 24 hours. Advertising and web content were all matched to the theme of the silhouetted crowd on the blue background.
